Nanowrimo Progress: Chapter 1 4,852 words

Magic in the Streets has an opener, one that will need some edits but who cares? I got it moving and I know what it's about. I'll keep going on this one. I do know the story -- and Magic has changed it already because the previous opener became a vision he had. He set out to change things and so he is the one who bit the drunk's ear to either kill the drunk or the evil spirit that's possessing him.

Now he needs to find his human familiar.

I'm happy to start my NaNovel. My fingers had been itching to write the opening line for days. Of course now that I have, the beginning feels really awkward to me and I want to rewrite it.

I'm ignoring it for now. It's been written, now I need to write the rest. Rewrites and edits can happen in December. :P

Yay, that is so great. But don't rewrite. Just keep going. You will think of even better tweaks when it's done. Santa brings great rewrites around December.
