Writer's Block: Love is deaf

Could you spend the rest of your life with someone who had horrific taste in music? How important is it to you to share your love of music with a good friend or romantic partner?
Probably not. The problem with living with someone who likes music you hate is that they reasonably expect to play it all the time, so you have to put up with it. There's no such thing as "horrific taste." There's people who like what you don't -- but living with what you hate can get to be a major stress. It's also usually mutual, if you hate their music they probably hate yours.
