Writer's Block: Forever young?

If you were forced to live forever at any age, what age would you choose, and why? What if your memories stopped at your chosen age? How would that impact your decision?
Well, it would probably be now because I'm in better health than I have been all through the previous fifty years but I know I'll get older and presumably the arthritis will get worse. I would not return to my youth if you paid me, not the way it really was. Life was unlivable for the first fifty years. I'd rather know what I do now. Keep in mind I don't know if some of my disabilities will get cured in a decade by future medical research -- that might make then better than now.
