Which of your favorite childhood stories would you like to make into a game? What kind of game would it be?

I loved Edgar Rice Burroughs' Pellucidar series and The Land That Time Forgot, which had a sequel. Either of those settings would be splendid for a GURPS tabletop roleplaying game. I've got enough paleontology background to really make all the extinct-animal encounters livelier and even more dangerous than ERB described them... his tyrannosaurs weren't giant ground-running eagles with teeth after all. I'd enjoy that.
