ATC Color Study for Lauren's Wombat

Tested out a concept for the background, posing the wombat from the first sketch into a hazy misty morning with an undefined horizon lost in the mists. I think I like that effect, it'll be even more powerful in pastels or oil pastels. Might tone down those violet shadows, they wouldn't be that strong in a morning mist. Inktense Blocks for the underpainting (washed) and then Derwent Coloursoft over that. 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" on Borden & Riley 90lb Drawing paper.
