Word count for my midnight start on "Trouble in the City." So far Brian has met a strange black cat who walked into his apartment by the fire escape. Mysteriously well trained, the cat uses the toilet and opens the refrigerator by himself to get his Half and Half. Brian names the cat Trouble, a name the cat responds to as if he's been called that before. I wonder how long it's going to take Brian to figure out that Trouble is not a normal cat.

Trouble is visually based on Lisa Polo's cat Maceo, subject of this portrait.

So that's my protagonist, one of them. He's cool.

Oh definitely! That's just awesome! I would've too. Quoting the coolest thing someone said about your writing is one of the best sources of taglines!
