All of them are a lot more colorful with their backgrounds done. ACEO Egret Reflection is my entry for next month's Theme Week in my ACEO group on eBay. ACEO Twisted Tree is staying in my possession because it has a theme, the lightning-blasted wind-twisted tree is growing and strong, it about describes my life. ACEO Fluffy Ari looks silly with no pupils in his eyes, but it'll look better when it's finished. Zombie Kitty! lol. And ACEO Flying Hawk now has soft dawn-colored clouds forming a more interesting background than just flat blue sky, and I'm happier with the composition.

I won't necessarily be finishing them as a batch, but since I did something on all of them last night I thought I'd post it. Once again the wonderful Griffin Alkyds worked and even the strong painterly strokes on Flying Hawk and Twisted Tree dried completely overnight. They mean "while you sleep," not 24 hours and work on it again the day after at the same time. It rocks.

I am going to varnish them when I'm completely done though, I like a glossy look on oil paintings.
