Rose WIP Stage Four

More local color has been added, a strong wash of Magenta over the rose itself and Grass Green over the leaves, nothing added to the background on this layer. Dewdrops are much more obvious because the highlights around them are reddened with Magenta. I think this is about as far as I'll get tonight, but as I keep going it will get brighter and brighter. Lighter colors over some of the highlights will brighten the rose which is looking pretty dark now, I haven't gotten in with Limepeel, scarlet or any pinks yet.

I am glad to see you posting, Robert! When I didn't see you for awhile, I began to get worried. Yay! Your back :)

Nah, I was having an offline good time. But now I'm back to beating my brains and joints out on another colored pencil painting!
