Daily doodle

ACEO Surf Doodle is another of my 99 cent June Doodle Challenge bargains. I had fun with it on Five Minute Art and sometimes these take a little longer, but usually not much. This one started as random scribbles but turned into an homage to Hokusai pretty fast, since I started with that dark blue and the first three lines looked like a Hokusai wave. I'm still fooling around with surf and probably will for years and years.

Yesterday was the ACEO YBAC contest, category Abstracts... I think that I posted my entries, but I'll find out when I'm done posting this!

I signed up for the June Theme Swap, still Under the Sea since it's the same theme as Theme Week, no less than nine times. I did one of the swap cards tonight. I need to do eight more, but I succeeded in getting my post in between two posts by someone whose art I bid on and didn't manage to get -- so either direction the swap goes, I will be getting one of hers and she'll probably get one of mine. Here's the swap card I finished, it took much longer than the Surf one but I think someone will enjoy it. Tomorrow I'll find out who my list to mail them to is! I think I'm just going to do all eight on impulse, various things that inspire me, and randomly shuffle who gets what.
