Writer's Block: Last Call

You are on a plane that's about to crash. You have time to make ONE phone call. Who do you call and what do you say?

Depends on the circumstances. Could be 911 and "Hey, this plane I'm on is about to crash on that building. You might want to get people out of it while I go see if I can jack up the terrorist's day and take over the plane." No kidding would I *not* just be sitting there in my seat being good and dying for someone else's cause.

Other than that, it's hard to say. I would call Kitten but odds are she'd actually be on the plane with me because I'm not real likely to be going through airports without help. I don't have a whole lot of phone numbers because I don't use the phone much. But I might call 911 and warn the locals wherever it was coming down on the general principle that without a lot of cornfields or an ocean under it, someone might get hit by a falling plane without a warning.

It really does depend on the circumstances. I'd have to hope I had my deity direct dialling card card and that one of them owed me a favour, I think.

Good point. Some calls you don't really need a phone for.
