How to Draw a Sycamore Tree has the above sketch as its main project in two stages, plus how to draw the leaf accurately with a trick for indenting or using a white pencil to do light veins on a dark leaf -- very useful for most leaves. ANd a sketch of the twig too. I've now posted all the stuff I got from outside and done two articles on today's excursion, and my back hurts.

I kid you not, cadhla's song 'Sycamore Tree' started just as I got to this post. Spooky.
