Sunday art...

OSWOA® Summer Thunderstorm is the first 4 x 6" one I've done in a long time. Significantly larger than my usual ACEOs, it felt like I was working gigantic. I used Mont Marte soft pastels on bright blue Crescent mat board for it -- the mat board is acid free and makes an excellent substrate with just enough tooth to hold pastels well. I might be doing more pastels now because they are so convenient right by my elbow in the three drawer pastels box!

But next time I may want to use Canson Mi-Tientes instead of the mat board because getting this into the 4 x 6" top loader was darn tricky!
