ACEO pastel experiment, Forest Blessing

ACEO Forest Blessing from a photo reference on WetCanvas by Fainsbert titled "Morning Sun Rays." I meant to do something with sun rays broken up with clouds or branches, and this just really grabbed me. The colors are a little greener in the greens and the shadows on the path behind the rays are more blue-violet, I couldn't balance both. There is a touch of turquoise in the foliage but not as much as it seems and also some mid greens.

ACEO size: 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" Cretacolor pastel pencils on white Colourfix sanded paper.
