Daily Art, unfinished...

Waterlily Pond is in Caran d'Ache Neopastel on wheat colored Colourfix sanded pastel paper. I did it 4" x 6" and got interrupted by an evening of working on a website for a group I belong to, so didn't get as far with this as I wanted. I love the feel of the artist grade oil pastels. They go on so smooth and blend so well that it's a delight. I'll be doing a lot of color mixing to get the subtle shades of this one just right.

And probably finish the Mule Deer Stag tomorrow too. Didn't list anything tonight because I wound up on the phone being geekish. I wound up being the Geek Man, the one who knows how, and it went right straight to my ego considering that usually I'm the fuzzy guy trying to get Real Geeks to a) fix it and b) explicate it to me when I do not speak their native language of Unix.

Fortunately when I do know the geekstuff, I am a science fiction writer who's perfectly capable of good explication. I just have to hold onto a tendency to handwave and make things up, that's all!

I've got too many unfinished artworks sitting right in front of me and I am so determined to finish all of them this month and also do my site stuff (what ate most of the early part of the day) so that during November all I need to do is write, and write, and write...

Very nice, Robert! Mom and most of her friends would do battle to get this as a letterhead or notebook. (it's better without being defiled by writing but such a great use of space)

Wow, maybe I should scan it at this stage! I hadn't even thought that its present state would make a good notepad -- but you're right, it would! Cool idea! I could do a good scan and see what I could do with it on Zazzle or Cafepress.

Purr thanks! Glad you joined WetCanvas. I wanted to work on this today worse than bad, but I'm having one of those "Did I just sit there for two hours writing and rewriting the same forum post on a topic that isn't a big deal?" days. Time gets distorted real bad.

I'm glad you're enjoying it. I want to work on this so much.
