Daily Art -- two pastel ACEOs

ACEO October Wind painted from life with Nupastels and a few touches of Sennelier on light gold Canson Mi-Tientes. 2 1/2" x 3 1/2". I didn't do any blending on this, just used strokes over strokes to create tension, motion and a quality Kitten called "edgy."

The wind was going nuts this afternoon and that's what inspired me to do the trees outside my window and skip drawing the windowframe cutting them off.

ACEO Pink Hollyhock is in Pan Pastels and Senneliers on light yellowish green Canson Mi-Tientes. I used a photo reference from WetCanvas reference image library provided by Lettersalad, chose it for being big and easy to run off the edges of the card instead of doing much background.
