Writer's Block: Opposites Attract

What celebrity would you consider changing your sexual identity for?

I'm bisexual, it's a moot point. It wouldn't change my sexual preference to go for any given celebrity. Rather a moot point. There aren't many that I'd consider even dating, given the lives they lead and their likely favorite enjoyments. It's not about whether a person's good looking, it's what they're like and whether we have much in common.

I gather that for people who are mostly gay or mostly straight, this question would be for that occasional exception to their usual preference.

I could have written this about myself, word for word.

Thanks. It's funny, the way people assume you'd rather go out with a celebrity than not and think it fun to get harassed by people every step of the date, then find out this person's probably exhausted and really sick of hearing about his/her movies, music, whatever. lol

Almost my exact thoughts when I saw the question, so I just bypassed it. Bit of a gripey session over on one group about it being a bit rude, as though one could just switch orientations on a whim. I agree, but didn't find it worth getting freaky about. There are a few celebrities I find to be nice eye candy, and one or two I think might actually be a person I'd enjoy knowing on a personal basis - if they didn't have all the fame crap going on around them. But the whole celebrity thing just turns me off.

Live your own fucking life, people, and look around you. If you opened your eyes and mind you might accidentally find out there are some really cool people right next to you.

Re: yep
I've known a number of people who do wind up commenting about this or that actor or actress that they're on a short list of people they'd bend straight or bend gay for. Usually they're a bit androgynous.

The real kicker is the fame crap and the difficulty of finding any time to get to know them, by and large celebrities are horribly busy people living in the fast lane. So the entire date or whatever would be spent on the run trying to dodge other people, a serious inconvenience.

Love your last line there!
