Another crystal sketch

Another sketch of my amethyst tipped crystal mounted on a kneaded eraser, this time in Prang Sketcho oil pastels to illustrate my review. I was fighting them to do this at all, the texture is a lot like cheap wax crayons. They are "oil pastel crayons" in truth and the brand of choice for artists under four years old.

They do have an important advantage in that they're so big my grandson can't eat them. Once I do the test strips for my lightfastness testing they'll be his -- under supervision because while kid supplies are often as lightfast as food coloring, they mysteriously stain whenever they get on clothing, walls, anything you don't want colored.

The full review is up and posted now -- I'm making great headway, three of the new ones reviewed already!
