Daily Art



Miratherium on a sandy spit from Walking with Beasts. It was mostly a sketch from memory because the sequence showing the animal wasn't very long. Sascha was in my room watching it with me and coloring a Basilosaurus I sketched for her in pen, so I did oil pastels too. Holbein Academic oil pastels on ProArt sketchbook paper, 4" x 6".

Video sketching without pausing is a lot like life sketching when the subject isn't posing.

Today is the third resting-up day. I haven't done any more cleaning or much of anything but show Sascha videos or sit around playing Diablo. I hurt a lot and I'm tired.
