Writer's Block: How Soon Is Now?

What scientific or medical breakthrough do you most want to happen in your lifetime?

Life extension. I've always wanted that. Partly because so much of the first half of my life was completely ruined, I want more of the good years that I'm having now. A chance to do the things that I couldn't do back then and ought to have just taken off and done. I will not get bored with more time, that's for sure.

It'd be nice to get some others too, better surgery and treatment for some of the incurable things I've got now, if there was a way to knock out the fibro that would rock. If they come up with ways to deal with my skeletal issues it'd be a miracle. But a lot of what I have to live with has no cure and no treatment beyond what I'm using. It takes so long for me to do anything that having more time to do it in would help a lot.

I felt this way even as a teenager, unlike most people that age I didn't have this feeling that I'd live forever or that it wouldn't matter if I died young.
