The Fix Is In!

Deborah Secor, author of the DVD that inspired this painting anyway, made just one suggestion after I got it done or thought I had. She pointed out that the middle wave could go behind the middle rock and look better because there was an unintentional repeated curve between the top of the rock and shape of the wave. I saw she was right and fixed it.

The fix took scrubbing off the dark blue and then going over that little area with seven or eight light tints and white. It mostly looks bright in the scan, but it's actually a lot of shimmering pale colors bouncing off each other.
