What was your favorite subject in elementary or primary school? Does it have anything to do with your life now?

I liked art. It was the only class that I didn't constantly get into trouble for disagreeing with teachers and worse, proving them wrong with outside materials. It was the only free time I had in my life as a child, since recess was about getting beaten up and not allowed back into the building to read in the library. To this day when I draw or paint I relax and it helps me reduce stress. If I'm worried about things I'll paint.

I still get too many flashbacks about that time in my life. I wouldn't wish my childhood on my worst enemy. I was both disabled and horribly out of context, the only people who actually believed the truth about my back, my limp, my symptoms were the children who picked on me about them and accurately diagnosed every single one.
