Daily Art

View from Bed 2, Prismacolor archival black pen size 005 with Winsor & Newton Artist Field Box watercolors, using the little brush in the set. Drawn from life, I picked up the pen and my watercolor journal and went back to bed to lay down and draw this at about eight this morning while it was overcast. The sky did look white.

Same as the one I did on the 15th except the leaves came in red and soggy, they dangle limp and look like autumn foliage at this stage while the tree behind it has small yellow-green leaves all over. So in under two weeks it went from the tail end of the winter view to a spring view of the scene. I might get in the summer version too and if we're still here in the fall I'll do it again when it turns color.

I slept about 16 hours yesterday between the nap and sleeping at night and finally feel sort of rested but don't know if I'll wind up exhausted again in a few hours. This year it's been a rough spring, worse than previous years for weather effects and symptoms.
