Second artwork from the 23d

Winter Oak, 4" x 6" in Sakura Koi watercolor on Canson Montval watercolor paper. The very light yellow washes in the near foreground don't come through well in the scan but the painting looks even better in life.

My computer is starting to have occasional heat crashes. It had one again yesterday. I found a paperback book up against the back that may have been blocking some of the heat exchange, but it's still a sign of age. Scary scary. It's three years old and I put laptops through hard use, very hard use. So I need to start saving fast, get back what I had in savings and build to where if necessary I could get a cheap one in June or a decent one in July.

Just in case.
