And an oil pastel...

Homegrown Tomatoes
4" x 6"
Erengi Art Aspirer oil pastels
Wirebound ProArt sketchbook paper
Photo reference by KreativeK on WetCanvas for the Weekend Drawing Event June 19-21. They're not my homegrown tomatoes.

Inspired by the Colourful Still Life class I took on WetCanvas and Capturing Radiant Light & Color by Susan Sarback, I did this one using the four-step colorist method. All colors are mixed from spectrum brights, no neutrals were used on it except for one dot of black that in retrospect I could've done in the very dark blue I used at the top background. I love how it shines and how that white plastic bucket looks so translucent.
