Another ATC in pen & watercolor

Bahamian White-Cheeked Pintail Duck
2 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Pigma Micron pen and watercolor over Starbucks coffee stain
Lanaquarelle hot press 140lb/300gsm watercolor paper.

Third in my Starbucks Coffee Stain ATC series. Some coffee splashed on my art bag on the trip down from Kansas to Arkansas and soaked into one end of my 4" x 6" Lanaquarelle hot press block, which was marked off for two ACEO/ATC blanks anyway. So I have been carefully marking up each successive coffee-stained page and using the piece on the stain side for an ATC, while saving the clean blanks from next to them for later projects. The stain is down to the size of a quarter now and much fainter so it'll be easy to hide on the next one.

ATC Swap and the Duck
Robert, this is Kurlie from WC Sept 24 WDE...I submitted the "falls" as an abstract piece. Coffee makes good art. Last Spring, I did a half sheet of Arches 300 CP with coffee and tea as my watercolors. It turned out nice and I put it in an exhibit, everyone liked it. Accidents sometimes inspire! I would love to participate in an ATC. I discovered ATC a few months ago and joined a live trade, only to be disappointed that most participants did "scrapbooky" art.

Re: ATC Swap and the Duck
Message me on WetCanvas about the swap. I'm mostly interested in realism and impressionism, don't really go for the scrapbook stuff or much for abstraction but do love impressionism and realism. I was considering starting a WDE ATC swap -- the theme would be "do something from the WDE" for it. I'm stacking up a bunch of cards in advance so that I don't wind up getting stressed over deadlines though.
