Madame is Waiting...

Why is he called the waiter when I am the one waiting?

There's a bad cold or flu going around the house. I just got it. Karl already has it. So does Sascha from what happened last night, she threw up. I almost threw up yesterday, then developed the sore throat and deep cough. Ugh. This is the changing season all right. That and maybe we're all having more contact with people outside the home. I hope it doesn't get much worse.

Anyway, I'll probably curl up and read for the rest of the day, might do something with colored pencils if I can stay awake. I have a few doses of Nyquil left and Karl just fixed me a beef broth potion with healing herbs that seems to be going right into the system -- I'm feeling a lot better with it than I was half an hour ago. I love that. They are both good at that sort of thing.

That little icon is spot on. I've been really fighting the nausea.

Ironic that this happens right after your Writer's Block about not being pampered. ;)

Hope you feel better soon.

LOL yeah -- except that I already had the early symptoms and was feeling grumpy. I should have noticed though. I look back now and yeah, the feel of the aches was distinctly different and I was already coughing a little and had a bit of the sore throat. Ugh ugh.

There's no real pampering when everyone comes down with it at once, you just do what you can to stay out of everyone's way.
