Chapter 12 done

Nanowrimo 2009: The Five Book Year:

Magic in the Streets, Nanovel One 2009

Greenwood Road, Nanovel Two 2009

Medicine Show, Nanovel Three 2009

Greenwood Gates, Nanovel Four 2009

Greenwood Home, Nanovel Five 2009

Okay, I'm not sure if this is a duplicate post or not. But I got chapter 12 done and it's looking good. Next up Evil Chapter 13 unless it isn't, just carries the story on. It'll be as long as it happens to be now. It won't reach 80k in the next two hours, and I'm tired and my eyes hurt from staring at the screen.

So I might hang it up and call this it for November, if I pop in any more words I'll post.

Okay, the last one was either that chapter 11 is done or that I got halfway through Chapter 12, the counts do not match. Seems from the numbers the title should have been Chapter 11 done.

Oh my! You have put out more words in a single month than many authors put out in a YEAR! In TWO years!

I am seriously impressed. And desperately wishing I still had that kind of focus on writing. I'm working up to it, but it is difficult. :/

Congrats on your Nano win!

Thank you!

Work up to it. I forgot how good this feels, to go all-out and not slow down for anything, really immerse, let the characters become the majority of my day and the stories flow as they do. It's a high.

I need to get to where the editing goes this well too and that'll be my life goal, to write like an Asimov or someone like that, just quietly go there every day and do the work and love it.

Come hang out at http://www.sffmuse.com/forums or the chat (or both), we are warming up to some challenges and we've got beta forums. I need edit-buddies and support for the part that comes hard for me (editing) and we're getting active again. It's growing, chat especially has gotten really lively this year.

A few more words really won't be all that significant considering the total count. That's a really impressive run. Congrats!

Purrr thank you!

I'll finish it in the next few days. I'm happy. I'm also finding myself wobbly sleepy so that's good.
